Oh What A Week

Been very busy at work trying to get sales and reports done. So was very happy when had Thursday and Friday off work for annual leave.

Thursday we went into Leeds to do some christmas shopping and I had an opticians appointment. I want to get contact lenses so was trying them out but couldn't get them in my eye so going back Tuesday to try again. Found hubby in the pub so we chilled out there and some friends came to meet us. We moved onto the German Christmas market, I had German sausage for lunch which was nice but a bit sickly after a while so hubby had the rest of mine! Had some profitjes which are similar to profiteroles but without the cream filling, I had them with chocolate sauce and they were delicious.

We then moved onto an Irish Bar O'Neills where hubby was in heaven as he was able to have Caffreys. But he also had another set of drinks which was 4 1/3 pints of different bitters and he was in pure heaven the alcoholic!!!! I went off to Virgin Active to join the gym, lucky me had a text message from them saying I had no joining fee offer so I only had to pay a month up front!!! Joined hubby and friends again and moved onto another pub!! Then back to O'Neills for some food, I had chicken and ribs and they were a bit overdone so not really good but hubby's all day breakfast meal looked really nice and he enjoyed his. After this we were knackered and went home. I didn't get to any shop as we were in the pub all day!!!!

Friday we had this beautiful thing delivered.

Its a LG 42in HD TV! Hubby is in love and has called it Jessica. The picture is amazing and watching action DVDs makes it more enjoyable. Hubby is now going to try to get a blu-ray player to go with it. We wondered around Whiterose Shopping Centre when I was able to drag hubby away from the TV!!! Managed to get a couple of things for hubby for Christmas. One of them is a suduko rubiks cube which is going to frustrate the life out of him. We had late lunch at Harvester I had spit roast chicken and BBQ ribs which blew O'Neills out of the water as it was delicious. I couldn't finish it though as there was loads of it. Nipped into Matalan on the way home and found myself some fingerless gloves.

Got home and crashed out for a bit. In the evening we went to one of hubby old colleagues house as she was having a few people round. It was quite good as it was nice to chill out with new people and talk about anything. Got home about 2am in the morning and zonked straight out!!!!!!

Saturday got up to go to Royal Mail to collect some packages that didn't fit through the letterbox, it was 4 more books from BookMooch, I now have about 30 books to get on and read. Finally finished Killing Time by Linda Howard which I have spent the past couple of weeks trying to read. Then started working on my dress that I want to wear for my Christmas party but found the fabric a bit too thin so we nipped into Leeds again and went to the market to find some thicker fabric which I did thankfully. As we were in town we had to go to the Christmas Market, where we got fried potatoes and a burger which was once again delicious. A friend came to meet us and we had a drink with him but it got too cold and we had to leave as I was going numb with cold. Got home and watched The Women on Sky and thought it was very funny.



Was too tired to anything else after that.

Sunday got up and went to the gym and worked out for an hour and chilled out at home for the rest of the day. Too tired to do anything apart from mucking about on the internet and watching TV.

Wishing Wednesday

My wish this week is ...

Is to stay at Hazlitt's Hotel London, I saw this hotel featured in this free magazine and fell in love! The bedrooms are scrumptious and are based in the Georgian Era, it just looks like pure luxuary. Unfortunately the prices start from £175 per night which is way out of my price range but here is to wishfull thinking and dreaming!

X Factor

Couldn't be bothered to watch X Factor again this weekend because of the stupid twins still being in the competition. But watched my favourite Olly's performance on YouTube and also Joe's performance as I think he has a good chance of winning as well.
